Testimonials

The best thing about the Molokai Huakaʻi 2024 was the Aloha!!! I feel like everybody was doing their best to follow the Pillars and embody the Aloha that was being shared.

Now that I am home, I remember from the Huakaʻi learning to move energy from Molokai and the Ancestors.

The Molokai Huakaʻi exceeded my expectations. I left with much more knowledge, insight, and embodied practices to share with others.

What I found most valuable was the time together with everyone.

The experience was one of personal growth and connection with an incredible group of people that I can honestly say was unlike anything I have done before.

Each person added to and enriched our journey on this Huakaʻi. Aloha Nā Akua

It was amazing! The best thing was the overwhelming Aloha from all participants and ʻohana. It was a nurturing environment.

It was a very humbling experience to be part of this Huakaʻi with people who accept, understand, and promote the significance of all we hold dear as a people.

The Molokai Huakaʻi was so many things... it was a learning experience. I will remember the beauty of Molokai.

I found the calm I searched for, because of the people, place, and what I learned about Hawaiian culture.

It was great to be with the group in person!

I felt spiritually cared for.

My expectations were far exceeded due to daily remarkable lessons that felt exactly what I needed to hear and experience.

The most valuable aspect of the Molokai Huakaʻi was having my spirit fed.

Desiree Leilani R., OK.
Participant 2024

When I registered an owl flew in front of me in the evening, and on the last evening on Molokaʻi an owl flew over me.

From the beginning, I had the feeling that our connections would become interwoven with all participants full of Aloha and protection.

Nā Kumu and the Ancestors kept the space so everyone could learn and grow. I found that very touching.

What I remember now that I am home is the spiritual protection of Kumu Lawrence all the time.

The most valuable aspect of Huakaʻi was the spiritual connection full of Aloha.

[Molokai Hula Bliss & Huakaʻi] is a journey into your own naʻau.

Everybody will experience it in their own way, but they have to be open to it and realize that Molokai is Hawaiʻi in its purest

Living partly off the grid will make you contemplate and enjoy the use of the senses you forgot to use.

This is not Waikīkī, if you want Waikīkī, you have no business coming to the Molokai Hula Bliss & Huakaʻi.

I’ve learned about the beautiful History of Molokai. I’ve learned about being Mākaukau (being ready and prepared).
